How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to operate and improve our services:

• To respond to general inquiries and advisory requests submitted via our contact form
• To generate and email you a secure download link for requested intelligence reports
• To deliver your personalised MO Capital Readiness assessment results by email
• To send an internal administrative notification so our team can follow up where appropriate

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is used internally only.

How We Store Your Data

• General inquiries: your submission is emailed directly to our team at contact@themoafrica.com and is not stored in a database.
• Report download requests: your name, email, and company are stored in our MySQL database alongside a one-time secure download token. The token is marked as used once the report is downloaded.
• Capital Readiness assessment leads: your assessment responses and contact details are stored in a protected CSV file on our server. The file is not publicly accessible.

All data is stored on our shared hosting server located in Nigeria. We apply server-level access controls to protect sensitive directories.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our website uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect our forms from automated spam submissions. reCAPTCHA operates in the background and collects hardware and software information, including device and application data, and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies on this website. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics platform.

Google reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies as part of its fraud-detection mechanism. These are governed by Google's privacy policy and are outside our direct control.

Third-Party Services

Our website embeds video content hosted externally (Pexels) for hero backgrounds. These videos are loaded directly from Pexels' servers. Pexels may log your IP address when this content loads. We do not control Pexels' data practices.

We use web fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare. These services may log your IP address when font files are requested. We do not control their data practices.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

• Download token records are retained until the token is used, after which they are marked inactive. Inactive records may be deleted during periodic database maintenance.
• Assessment leads are retained to allow our advisory team to follow up. You may request deletion at any time (see below).
